Position Overview:

Sageview Consulting ( is seeking a dynamic and experienced Benefits and HR Manager to oversee aspects of human resources management and employee benefits administration The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in benefits management with a strong understanding of health plans invoice reconciliation and HR best practices. This role requires excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills to ensure compliance, employee satisfaction, and cost-effective benefits administration.

In this full-time, in-person position, you will be reporting directly to the HR Client Director. As a condition of your employment, you will be required to pass a physical, drug test, and Level 2 background check. Additionally, you must undergo an annual tuberculosis test, as mandated by the State of Florida for healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

For this role, approximately 60% of time will be dedicated to Benefits Management and 40% to HR Management. Please note that some tasks may support both areas, resulting in overlapping time allocations.

Benefits Management

Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.

Serve as the primary liaison with benefits vendors, brokers, and third-party administrators.

Analyze and evaluate benefits offerings to ensure competitiveness, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.

Conduct open enrollment and communicate benefits information to employees effectively.

Handles daily operational responsibilities of the 401k retirement plan.

Assists with the preparation of annual ACA tax filings and in the annual 401k Plan audit.

Invoice Reconciliation:

Review, analyze, and reconcile monthly health plan invoices to ensure accuracy and alignment with employee enrollments.

Investigate discrepancies in invoices and work with vendors to resolve billing issues.

Maintain accurate documentation and records of invoice reconciliation processes.

Human Resources Management

Leads and oversee all aspects of Human Resources Management.

Implementation of HR strategies, policies, and procedures.

Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee retention programs to attract and retain top talent.

Provide guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.

Manage HR systems and maintain accurate employee records.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred but not required.

5+ years of experience benefits administration with strong knowledge of employee benefits programs, including health plans and related regulations (e.g., ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA).

3+ years of experience in HR management.

Proficiency in HRIS, benefits management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Demonstrated expertise in health plan invoice reconciliation and vendor management.

Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
