Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Laser Cutter Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC laser cutting machines, an eye for detail, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. This role involves operating CNC laser cutting machines to cut, engrave, and etch materials like metal, plastic, and wood, ensuring precision and efficiency in every project.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and maintain CNC laser cutting machines.

Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and job specifications.

Ensure machine settings are calibrated correctly for optimal performance.

Monitor the production process to ensure quality and efficiency.

Perform regular maintenance on machines and troubleshoot issues as needed.

Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company standards.

Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

Work with other team members to meet production deadlines.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a CNC Laser Cutter Operator or in a similar role.

Familiarity with CNC laser cutting software and operating systems.

Strong knowledge of materials and their properties (e.g., metal, plastic, wood).

Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

High attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in CNC machining is a plus, not a must!

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience with CNC laser machine

Knowledge of CAD/CAM software.

5 years' experience w/ programming Mazak, Okuma, and Haas style machines
