Overview
We are seeking a Systems and Centralized Services Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing IT infrastructure, implementing automation solutions, deploying and managing tools, and proactively improving IT services. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to IT service management.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and support IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and security systems.
Assess current and future network capacity needs and develop strategic plans accordingly.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Perform disaster recovery operations and data backups as needed.
Maintain and administer computing environments, including system software, applications, and configurations.
Manage Windows networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Active Directory Services, Group Policy, etc.).
Implement and optimize IT security measures, including anti-malware and virus protection.
Document network changes, configurations, and security policies.
Develop and maintain automation solutions to improve IT efficiency and reduce reactive support.
Deploy and configure Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM), backup, and security tools across all clients.
Standardize IT services to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Analyze IT service requests to identify trends and implement proactive solutions.
Ensure all systems and endpoints are up-to-date with patches, security updates, and optimizations.
Work closely with internal IT teams, including the Service Desk and Technical Alignment Managers (TAMs), to improve IT service delivery.
Develop and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure IT system performance and identify areas for improvement.
Maintain proper documentation, training materials, and best practices for IT tools and processes.
Required Skills & Experience
Proficiency in IT infrastructure, including Windows, Active Directory, VMWare, and Office 365 administration.
Experience with RMM tools, automation scripting, and centralized IT management.
Strong knowledge of network security, endpoint protection, and IT best practices.
Ability to manage IT projects, including infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and enhancements.
Hands-on experience with Kaseya, ConnectWise, Datto, Acronis, Addigy or similar platforms.
Strong analytical skills for proactive service improvement and problem resolution.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced IT environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in an MSP (Managed Services Provider) environment.
Familiarity with IT automation, scripting (PowerShell, Python, or similar), and process improvement.
Knowledge of IT security frameworks and compliance requirements.
Work Environment & Expectations
Must be able to work extended hours occasionally for system updates or critical issue resolution.
Nationwide travel may be required.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs as needed.
Must be detail-oriented and thrive in a proactive IT environment.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
