Description:

Updated 4-29-25 (New Role)

We are working with a large and well-known Private Equity (PE) sponsor to find an interim CFO / SVP Finance. This is a fantastic role, with high exposure to a premier PE sponsor coupled with the ability to drive substantial improvements in our client's finance and accounting operations. Our client is a well-capitalized, relatively new company operating at scale (greater than $1B in revenues); however the financial infrastructure build-out has not kept pace with the firm's revenue growth so we will ideally find a candidate that, in the past, has scaled accounting and finance while operating in a high growth environment.

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

Lead all planning, forecasting and finance activities including the creation, maintenance and evolution of both annual and long-term business-plans.

Support banks, lenders and rating agencies (relative to secured debt offerings) with presentations, Q&A, performance commentary, required covenant reporting etc..

Improve Capital Planning process including ROI hurdles and project tracking. A deep understanding of telecom investments and KPI's is required (e.g., force-to-load etc.)

Lead accounting and finance transformation efforts including supporting financial close processes, internal controls, audit support, variance analysis, risk management and insurance etc.Additional Points / Requirements about the role:

Remote work environment with travel to our clients East Coast headquarters (travel schedule greater than 50% can be flexible)

Prior CFO or SVP Finance experience with a $500m+ telecommunications company (required).

PE experience a plus but not required

6-month estimated duration with targeted start date of May 12th (give or take 1 week)

Target pay range is $9-$10K per week depending on experience.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco notes the salary range for the role as follows: $9,000 - $10,000 weekly fixed rate. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.

Desired Skills and Experience

CFO, SVP Finance, Telecommunications, Budgets, Forecasts, FP&A, Financial Modeling, Private Equity
