PROMAN Staffing has partnered with our client a advanced end-to-end manufacturing partner to source and hire a CNC Machinist with strong spring-coiling experience to join their brand new location in Libertyville, IL.

Our client is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist – Spring Coiling to join their growing team. In this role, you'll operate, set up, and maintain CNC spring coiling machines to produce high-quality springs that meet strict specs. If you’re hands-on, quality-focused, and experienced with spring coiling equipment — this is a great opportunity to make an impact.

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:

Operate and set up CNC/manual coiling machines for compression, extension, and torsion springs

Adjust settings (tension, pitch, feed) for precision and consistency

Perform changeovers and troubleshoot defects

Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and load testers

Conduct machine maintenance and replace worn tooling

Work with materials like stainless steel, music wire, and specialty alloys

Collaborate with engineering on new products and process improvements

Maintain safety and organization using 5S and lean principles

CNC Machinist Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (technical training a plus)

2+ years of spring coiling or metal forming experience

Experience with CNC coiling machines (e.g., WAFIOS, MEC) preferred

Strong blueprint reading and QC tool skills

Mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and solid problem-solving

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hourCompany Description
