Assistant Director of Safety

Job Description

FDRsafety is seeking an Assistant Director of Safety for a large manufacturing client near Broken Arrow, OK. This position will be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment by auditing safety performance, revising safety policies and procedures as needed, and safety training for a single site facility.

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH) preferred.

Minimum of 3+ years of experience in environmental, health, and safety management, preferably in manufacturing.

In-depth knowledge of relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations, including OSHA, EPA, etc.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence employees at all levels of the organization.

Experience developing and implementing safety training programs, conducting hazard assessments, and managing incident investigations.Company Description
