Job Summary

Teach graduate-level courses in the Public Policy program. Depending on need and scheduling, courses can be either in-person, online or employ a hybrid model.

Essential Functions

Demonstrate knowledge and skills related to teaching methodology, curriculum development and evaluation.

Evaluate student achievement of curricular objectives/outcomes.

Schedule office hours per week for student availability.

Schedule administrative time for course preparation.

Maintain communication with the department head regarding any course or student issues.

Develop lessons plans, readings and assignment in line with course objectives

Teach course materials in the appropriate course modality

Communicate effectively with students and provide feedback as needed

Respond in a timely manner to student and university-related communications

Perform other similar duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Terminal degree in a field relevant to public policy and/or extensive work experience and subject matter expertise.
