Construction Superintendent

Responsibilities:

· Oversee construction process of the project from start to completion.

· Manage and document construction process for the duration of the project.

· Conduct inspections for quality control and building code compliance per company requirements.

· Responsible for OSHA compliance

· Maintain daily reports on company provided form.

· Adhere to and update construction schedules.

· Responsible for scheduling subcontractors and material deliveries.

· Schedule inspections and accompany inspector on all inspections.

· Troubleshoot problems on the jobsite.

· Write and record RFI’s.

· Assist in reviewing product submittals.

· Maintain as-built drawings and specifications.

· Work with subcontractors to acquire close-out documents.

· Create and follow up punchlists.

Qualifications:

· Experience as a multi-family / or tract home superintendent, new construction.

· Must be skilled in reading and understanding plans and specifications, including shop drawings.

· Knowledgeable in construction means and methods.

· Must be self-driven and motivated, have strong organizational, decision making and problem solving skills.

· Must be able to work and get along with others.
