Synertex is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work with a Government Intelligence Community client in Chantilly, VA.

Clearance: TS/SCI with a Polygraph

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Amazon Web Services (AWS): Proven experience working with AWS, with a focus on authoring Lambda functions in Python.

Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in Python and Java

API Integrations: Extensive experience designing and implementing API integrations to facilitate secure and rapid data movement between systems.

Customer Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work closely with customers to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Production Deployment: Hands-on experience deploying code into production systems (not just development or test environments) and ensuring operational stability.

Version Control: Proficiency with GitHub for committing code, managing repositories, and maintaining a clean codebase.

Data Management: Experience working with large datasets and metadata, preferably in a catalog or records management context.REQUIREMENTS:

An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TS/SCI with Polygraph

5-7 years of experience in software engineering/development

5-7 years of experience working with AWS cloud computing.

5-7 years of professional software engineering experience in at least one of the following: Python, JavaScript (e.g., Node.js, React, Vue.js), or C#.

DESIRED EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in quantitative or computational discipline

Familiarity with enterprise-scale data sharing and collaboration workflows.

Experience optimizing back-end systems for performance and scalability.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.
