Overview

As a Test Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our advanced audio test instruments! Working under limited supervision, you'll perform a variety of adjustments, tests, and repairs on circuit boards and finished products. Your expertise in troubleshooting and your attention to detail will be essential in maintaining our high standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

Inspect, test, and troubleshoot circuit boards built by outside assembly vendors at the component level

Perform final test and calibration on products prior to shipping, ensuring they meet rigorous performance specifications

Conduct warranty repair and/or calibration on returned instruments, resolving technical issues efficiently

Utilize soldering/de-soldering tools, microscopes, precision measuring instruments, and other hand-held tools effectively

Follow verbal and written instructions, including schematic drawings, assembly layouts, and sketches, with precision

Perform other manufacturing tasks consistent with Test Technician II training and experience

Complete other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the manufacturing team

Qualifications and Skills

3-5 years of experience inspecting and testing circuit boards required

3-5 years of experience troubleshooting electronic assemblies and instruments

Demonstrated experience in hardware testing methodologies is required

AA degree in Electronics or equivalent technical training

IPC acceptable solder skills

Experience with Windows and MS Office tools

Audio knowledge is a definite plus

Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00AM - 5:00PM)

Compensation: $26.00 - $28.00 Hourly
