Seeking an experienced Carpentry Foreman to oversee and manage all aspects of Carpentry work on construction sites. You will supervise a team of workers, ensuring that projects adhere to safety and quality standards, and are completed on time and within budget.
Pay: $35 - $40 an hour, Based on Experience
Location: Within a 60 mile radius of Madison, WI
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM – OVERTIME

Responsibilities:
Oversee and direct a crew of workers in various carpentry tasks including installing structures and fixtures such as frames, windows, doors, flooring, trim, and hardware.
Operate forklifts, man lifts, and other construction site equipment after obtaining certification.
Provide training and guidance to crew members.
Collaborate with the General Superintendent of Madison, the VP of Madison.
Operations, and other trade partners to ensure seamless coordination of the project.
Read and interpret blueprints and job specifications to plan and execute carpentry work.
Ensure that all materials, tools, and equipment are available and ready to use.
Inspect work to ensure it meets WB quality standards and local building codes.
Conduct regular safety meetings (morning huddles, etc.) and inspections to ensure a safe work environment.
Prepare and submit required reports, including timesheets, daily logs, etc.
Willingness to take on responsibilities beyond those outlined in the job description.Qualifications:
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in carpentry work, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
Strong understanding of concrete construction techniques, materials, and best practices.

Must possess a valid driver's license.
OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification, ACI Certification, First Aid/CPR.
Certification preferred but not required.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
Able to demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to problem-solve and think creatively.
Must be detail-oriented with the ability to maintain a focus on quality and accuracy.
Ability to remain calm and professional when faced with tight deadlines.
Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.
