Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in IT Technologies, Geography or a related field; or Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field and four (4) additional years of related experience.
Four (4) years of experience in GIS systems and processes or related software.
Key Responsibilities
Maintains the city’s Enterprise Geographic Information System (GIS).
Supports city staff performing GIS-related activities across the enterprise.
Manages, administers, publishes ESRI Web apps, Datasets, Imagery, StoryMaps, Dashboards, Portal and Data stores.
Ensures application security management for assigned applications in conjunction with the network Infrastructure group.
Administers servers/systems in designated area or application(s), i.e., ESRI ArcGIS, Cartegraph.
Writes additional documentation where required.
Works closely with user departments on cross-functional process improvement teams. Develops business and system flow charts and related procedures and system documentation.
