We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to lead and oversee complex projects within a dynamic team environment. This role requires a results-driven individual who can manage multiple cross-functional projects, ensure timely delivery, and maintain alignment with business objectives. Located in Colchester, Connecticut, this is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to contribute to impactful initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead project teams by assigning roles, responsibilities, and tasks to ensure successful project execution.

• Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource requirements, and work breakdown structures (WBS).

• Accurately define project scope and provide labor and resource estimates to stakeholders and executives.

• Ensure projects adhere to predefined methodologies and perform impact analysis for any significant changes.

• Monitor project progress, ensuring budgets, timelines, and resources stay within agreed thresholds.

• Facilitate regular team and stakeholder meetings, distributing meeting minutes and action items as needed.

• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external partners to meet project objectives.

• Oversee budgeting processes, including forecasting, allocation, and monitoring of project financials.

• Apply earned value management (EVM) techniques to assess project performance and progress.

• Collaborate with the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) and other leadership teams to align projects with organizational goals.• At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in IT or cross-functional environments.

• Proficiency in CRM and ERP systems, with a strong understanding of their implementation and integration.

• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, including allocation, monitoring, and forecasting.

• Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as PMO processes and earned value management (EVM).

• Strong skills in developing work breakdown structures (WBS) and managing complex schedules.

• Excellent communication skills, with experience facilitating meetings and distributing meeting minutes.

• Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and work effectively with external partners.

• Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP or equivalent) is required.
