Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Midland, Texas. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for growth in a dynamic, fully onsite environment. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional IT support to end-users, ensuring seamless operations across hardware, software, and network systems.
Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality desktop support to end-users, including executives, ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues.
• Manage and maintain systems such as Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and SharePoint to support business operations.
• Deliver personalized IT services for executive users, addressing their unique needs with professionalism.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer hardware, mobile devices, and various software applications.
• Travel to remote company sites on a monthly basis to provide onsite IT support, using a company vehicle and expense reimbursement.
• Ensure proper configuration and management of hardware, software, and backup technologies.
• Assist with end-user training on new systems and technologies to improve overall efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement and maintain network and server solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT processes and issue resolutions to ensure consistency.
• Support approximately 100 users across multiple locations, demonstrating self-sufficiency and proactive problem-solving.
• Proven experience in desktop support, with strong knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and SharePoint.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with end-users and executive staff.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and mobile device issues, including Apple and Android devices.
• Familiarity with Cisco, Citrix, and Dell technologies in IT environments.
• Ability to manage configuration and backup solutions for critical systems.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently to address technical challenges.
• Willingness to travel monthly to remote sites, with a valid driver's license.
• Strong organizational skills to document processes and maintain system integrity.
