Sr. Accountant

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual passionate about financial accuracy and process improvement. As a key contributor to the accounting team, you will manage critical financial operations and have the opportunity to grow into leadership roles within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.

• Manage intercompany transactions and consolidations across multiple business entities.

• Support inventory accounting processes and perform cost accounting tasks as required.

• Collaborate with external auditors and assist with tax filings and compliance documentation.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations and executive leadership, to support business objectives.

• Assess and enhance internal controls and financial reporting processes to improve efficiency.

• Contribute to the implementation and optimization of scalable accounting systems and best practices.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.

• At least 4 years of experience in full-cycle accounting, including month-end close processes.

• Familiarity with inventory-based or service-oriented industries.

• Hands-on experience with cost accounting and gross margin analysis.

• Proficiency in accounting systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar platforms.

• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial compliance requirements.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Experience with intercompany accounting is highly desirable.
