Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems. Determines design approaches and parameters
Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results
Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability. May also review vendor capability to support product development, and all other duties as assigned
Uses professional concepts; applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors
Exercises judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Has internal and some external contacts. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments
Education and Experience:
BS Electrical Engineering or higher (MS, PhD)
2-4 years’ related experience
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience in Engineering Design
Experience with Altium Designer or equivalent
Experience with electrical test equipment
Strong organizational skills
Experience with underwater technology preferred.
Excellent working knowledge of MS Office products
Experience with Confluence/Jira.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
