Enterprise Architect

Job Description

seeking a highly skilled and motivated Enterprise Architect to provide strategic and technical leadership in the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide IT solutions for our direct client in Tallahassee, Florida.

This role serves as a critical bridge between business users, technical teams, and vendors, ensuring alignment of solutions with enterprise architecture standards and organizational goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining architectural artifacts, leading process improvement initiatives, and developing standards that ensure compliance, scalability, and interoperability across platforms.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience architecting complex IT systems.

Minimum 5 years of experience with technical design and analytical methodologies.

Proven experience in large-scale projects involving infrastructure and software development.

Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Minimum 5 years of experience integrating applications across various hardware platforms.

Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated leadership and motivational capabilities.

Proficiency in modeling tools and graphical representations of technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience modernizing and migrating legacy mainframe applications.

Expertise in cloud migration strategies and architectures, particularly with Microsoft Azure or AWS.

Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience building APIs and integrating applications using API-based architectures.

Full-time
