Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Project Development Intern. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the exciting and rapidly growing field of solar energy. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an entrepreneurial passion for renewable energy development and a desire to work with clients to transform the way they procure energy. This is a 10-week internship program (approximately June 9 – August 15, 2025).
Responsibilities:
Assist in the collection, organization, and entry of metadata related to Real Estate, Permitting, Incentive Awards, and Diligence Studies.
Contribute to the development and refinement of internal databases by building and updating profiles for Utilities, Jurisdictions, and Incentive Programs.
Aid in the preparation of due diligence materials by gathering project asset documentation and ensuring accurate placement within internal datarooms.
Collaborate with the Aspen Summer Intern cohort on a final project, culminating in a formal presentation to company leadership
Qualifications:
Must be passionate about the renewable energy business, hardworking and thrive in the fast pace of a rapidly growing company. In addition, the candidate must possess:

Highly reliable and dependable
Proficiency in MS Office 365 including Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Compensation Range: $25 per hour (undergraduate student or degree) - $45 per hour (graduate student or degree)
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
