Position Summary
The IT Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance, and efficiency of all IT systems across the company in a multi-site environment. This includes our on-premise and cloud services, networking, mobile technologies, and business applications used by both office and field staff. This role combines leadership with technical expertise and requires a proactive problem-solver with a strong service-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Manage internal networks, internal and cloud infrastructure (Microsoft 365, VoIP, Azure, etc.), and system security.
Oversee mobile device and laptop provisioning, configuration, and support for field and office staff.
Serve as administrator for business-critical applications such as ERP, field service software, CAD software, security systems, and asset tracking tools.
Provide day-to-day helpdesk support and training to employees as needed.
Maintain internal IT infrastructure including servers, networks, firewalls, storage, and backups in coordination with third-party vendors.
Provide end-user support and training across departments for field and office staff.
Support network security and cybersecurity protocols, including antivirus, firewalls, patch management, and backup/recovery with third-party providers.
Manage IT asset tracking and replacement schedule.
Lead IT-related projects including system upgrades, migrations, integrations, and rollouts.
Ensure IT systems are compliant with applicable regulations and best practices.
Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (OR equivalent work experience).
5+ years of IT experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
Strong understanding of network technologies (LAN/WAN, switches, firewalls, VPN).
Experience supporting Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Teams.
Familiarity with field service software is a plus.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to balance long-term strategy with immediate IT needs and support.

$85,000 - $95,000/year
