Position Summary:

This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of ticketing operations for the university’s athletic events. This role ensures efficient and customer-friendly ticket sales, distribution, and management while maintaining compliance with NCAA, conference, and university regulations. This position collaborates with various departments, including marketing, development, and game operations, to enhance the fan experience and maximize revenue opportunities.

Salary & Benefits:

$45,000 and comprehensive benefits package including medical, vision, dental, life insurance, generous employer retirement contributions, wellness resources and tuition waiver effective on date of hire.

Primary Duties:

Oversee the daily operations of the athletics ticket office, including ticket sales, distribution, and reconciliation.

Develop and implement ticketing policies and procedures to ensure efficient sales and customer service.

Manage all ticketing platforms and software, ensuring proper functionality and troubleshooting any issues.

Coordinate and oversee ticket sales for all home athletic events, including season tickets, single-game tickets, and group sales.

Provide excellent customer service to fans, donors, students, and other stakeholders.

Handle ticket-related inquiries, disputes, and requests in a professional and timely manner.

Work closely with marketing and promotions staff to create ticket packages and promotions that enhance attendance.

Manage gameday ticket operations, including staffing, will-call distribution, and walk-up sales.

Reconcile daily ticket sales, deposits, and financial reports in compliance with university and departmental policies.

Prepare and analyze reports on ticket sales, attendance trends, and revenue generation. Assist with budget development and monitor ticket office expenditures.

Partner with external vendors, including ticketing software providers, to optimize ticketing solutions.

Recruit, train, and supervise student workers and part-time staff to assist with ticket operations.

Support and participate in university-wide initiatives to enhance community engagement and athletics attendance.

Perform other duties as required/assigned by leadership.

R Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Bachelor’s Degree.

Two or more (2+) years related work experience.

Experience with ticketing software.

Experience with supervision/leadership.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Master’s Degree.

Four or more (4+) years related work experience.

Experience within higher education and/or athletic organization.

Prior experience with AudienceView software.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Normal office environment. Frequent nights and weekends.
