Responsibilities
We are HIRING! We are adding a Mid-Level Network Administrator to the team. This position require daytime (8am – 5pm), evening (5pm - midnight) shift and on-call after hours (5pm - 8am) and all weekend support rotation every two weeks. This role is partially remote but candidate must be local or within the Richmond, VA area.
What you will do:
General maintenance, troubleshooting and root cause analysis for network incidents in the environment
Resolve all network issues assigned to the network team
Drive problem resolutions to ensure business continuity
Work shift rotations and weekends to accommodate maintenance restrictions and after-hours response.
Improve quality and ensure consistent and timely resolution of incidents
Implement necessary steps to prevent future incidents
Audit network devices to confirm network policies and guidelines meet or exceed targets for successfully audits
Perform change management (CM) role on all network devices. Implement network change requests based on CM processes
Install, upgrade and maintain all network components
Document processes in accordance with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) requirements
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree.
Experience administering, configuring, installing, and upgrading the following:
F5 LTM load balancers
Checkpoint and Juniper firewalls
Cisco IOS routers, Cisco IOS
Nexus OS switches
Experience troubleshooting network traffic flows between servers, appliances, and network equipment
Experience performing routine maintenance and incident break / fix issues
Good level knowledge of any of the following protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP, VLAN, and TCP/IP
Professional, responsible attitude and can work independently
Good verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to work evening shift (5pm - midnight) and on-call after hours (5pm - 8am) and all weekend support rotation every two week
Must be a US Citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance
Desired Qualifications:
Ability to work with remote, matrixed teams
Ability to work effectively in a team, and with clients

Target Salary Range
$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
