**The Opportunity**
Our location in Columbus, OH currently has an opportunity for an **Associate Surveillance Coordinator** .
This role is responsible for coordination and execution of surveillance testing programs to assure the safety and compliance of Abbott Nutrition products and protect brand reputation by managing potential chemical hazards in food. You will work to implement testing strategies with regulatory and quality requirements across the global Abbott laboratory network. Accountability includes coordination of internal surveillance programs for ingredients and finished product with oversight from Project Manager. You will provide insight and awareness on potential data trends.
**WHAT YOU’LL DO**
+ Proven ability to interact across functions and provide data evaluations to drive for actions toward developing strategies to address potential food safety issues is essential.
+ Works well with other cultures in a collaborative, fast paced goal-driven global environment.
+ Must have the interpersonal skills to negotiate and reconcile interdisciplinary objectives while optimizing overall organizational goals.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Science required. Preferably Chemistry or Food Chemistry
**Preferred**
+ 3 years of experience working in the food industry.
+ Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
+ Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced changing environment.
+ Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
+ Multi-tasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.
+ Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills and ability to hold others accountable.
+ Has excellent attention to detail

The base pay for this position is $54,000.00 – $108,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
