Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
Join our team as a Machine Operator, where you will set up and run printing presses or high-speed technical machinery. Your focus will be on implementing time-saving practices to limit downtime and setup times, ensuring that a quality product is delivered to our customers.
Responsibilities
Setup and operate a high-speed printing press machine.
Work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety.
Minimize scrap waste, deliver waste to the appropriate department, and accurately tag for waste reporting.
Collect top and bottom sheets (dunnage) to expedite the converting process.
Practice proper lock out/tag out procedures.
Follow reporting processes for accurate completion of production paperwork and CTI/HRMS.
Mount die boards, assist in machine setup, and ensure continuous operation.
Read and understand production order copies for each production run and assist the operator in ensuring quality.
Understand the mechanical functionality of the machine and perform in-depth cleaning of the press when scheduled.Essential Skills
2 years of machine operating experience.
Ability to accurately read a measuring tape and ruler and use basic shop math.
Capability to work in a high-speed packaging environment, package, and label.

Work Environment
Work in a brand new, 550,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility. Although not climate-controlled due to the nature of the process, it is well-ventilated. Required safety gear includes steel toes, safety vests, safety glasses, ear protection, and temporary hard hats. Enjoy the spacious environment with modern amenities including an internal café. Currently operating on a 1st shift schedule with plans to expand to additional shifts.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
