Job Description
The Saw Helper supports the Saw Operator during their shift and is an entry-level role. You will retrieve products and set them up for cutting, assisting with various tasks as needed. This position offers a great opportunity to learn and advance within the company. A commitment to working 12-hour shifts and maintaining good attendance is essential.
Responsibilities
Support the Saw Operator by assisting with necessary tasks during the shift.
Retrieve products and prepare them for cutting.
Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Learn and grow within the role to advance within the company.Essential Skills
Experience with saw operation, production, and machine operation.
Ability to stand on feet for 12-hour shifts.
Basic math skills.
Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety instructions, and manuals.Additional Skills & Qualifications
0-1 years of work experience.
Familiarity with general labor, forklift operation, hand tools, bandsaw, tape measure, packaging, and banding.
Work Environment
This is a 24/7 operation with 12-hour shifts.
The Shift is 7 pm to 7 am.
The environment is dirty, dusty, and not temperature controlled, becoming very hot during the summer.
The dress code requires jeans or work pants, a plain shirt, and steel-toed shoes with metatarsals.

This is a Contract to Hire position Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.85 - $18.25/hr.
