Job Title: Molding Supervisor
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Molding Supervisor to oversee and enhance all aspects of safety, quality, and productivity within our Molding Department. The role involves supervising the department and support staff, ensuring compliance with SQF and SOP standards, and supporting Human Resources to meet employee needs and objectives.
Responsibilities
Supervise and support Molding department employees and support departments.
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards, following SQF and SOP guidelines.
Coach, educate, and manage staff including handling necessary discipline and documentation.
Assist in the hiring process, orientation, and training of new employees.
Ensure operators produce quality products efficiently by adhering to job instructions and established quality procedures.
Supervise daily work of staff, assisting in problem-solving and removing obstacles to achieve production goals.
Collaborate with Maintenance and Engineering teams to troubleshoot machines and resolve production or quality issues.
Lead safety improvements and participate actively in the Safety Committee.
Schedule personnel and machines based on the production schedule.
Perform additional tasks as directed by the Production Manager.Essential Skills
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing.
At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
Experience with plastics/injection molding and knowledge of related machinery.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong leadership characteristics.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working with HR in training, hiring, terminations, and performance improvement.
ERP experience, with knowledge in IFS considered a plus.
Ability to multi-task and operate in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment
Join a primary manufacturing site specializing in customized thin-wall injection molded containers and packaging solutions. The facility is climate-controlled but can get warm next to the machines, providing a dynamic and supportive work environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lees Summit, Missouri.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $82000.00/yr.
5% annual bonus. Annual pay reviews. Benefits/insurance eligible on the 1st of each month. PTO accruing on day 1.
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Lees Summit,MO.

Full-time
