Job Title: Welder and Fabricator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Welder and Fabricator with the ability to read shop drawings and interpret manuals, design specifications, blueprints, as well as SAE and metric drawings. The ideal candidate will perform standard shop math operations and use core welding and fabrication tools to weld, cut, and trim objects to precise dimensions as required. They must be knowledgeable about basic shop tools, maintenance, and fabrication materials. Additionally, the role requires the inspection of both raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret shop drawings, manuals, design specifications, blueprints, SAE and metric drawings.
Perform standard shop math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Utilize core welding and fabrication tools for welding, cutting, and trimming objects to specified dimensions.
Identify fabrication materials and inspect raw materials and finished products for conformance to specifications.
Maintain an organized, clean, and safe workspace.
Communicate effectively and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
Pay attention to detail with precise measurement and finishing abilities.
Accurately use and read a tape measure.
Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills independently.Essential Skills
2 years of fabricator experience.
Basic welding knowledge.
Experience with hand tools, grinders, saws, and speed squares.
Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.
Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
Experience with sheet metal, press brakes, stainless steel, and robotic welding.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of waterjet operation and CNC routing.
Forklift and rigging experience.

Work Environment
Work in a well-lit indoor manufacturing setting with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, from 5:00am to 1:30pm, Monday through Friday. Opportunities for travel may be included as part of the role.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Roseville, California.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $58240.00/yr.
