The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOC) is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst 3 to support our government customer located in Kekaha, Hawai'i.
Support accreditation and cyber security activity efforts by coordinating with Koa Lani IT Department, PMRF C-ISSM/C-ISSO, ISO and other Government personnel. Monitor and coordinate implementation of IAVM, Patches, STIG, etc.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the execution of the DoDI 8510.01 Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Systems and assist in implementing the DoD Assessment and Authorization (A&A) procedures.
Perform all ISSO duties and responsibilities in DODI 8500.01, DODI 8510.01, and U.S. Navy Policy.
Responsible for handling of security events/incidents, as they are escalated, including triage, remediation, documentation, and escalation to management and government customers, as well as after-action reports and reviews.
Participate in working group meetings including, but not limited to Cyber Security Working Group Meetings, system partnering meetings, system ATO and IT/Cyber status meetings and other contractual required meetings.
Assist with development and maintenance of comprehensive cyber security programs to safeguard the organization's data, systems, and networks.
Performs activities related to NIST RMF Assessment & Authorization (A&A) Process and other policies for the administration and safeguarding of US and foreign Government classified and unclassified information as it pertains to networks, standalone computer systems, and data encryption.
Accurately perform security tasks required by the 32 CFR Part 117 National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication 800-37, DoD 8500.1 DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process, DOD Instruction 8510.01 Risk Management Framework for DoD Systems
Provide employee mentorship and training on cyber security concepts, guidance and policies.
Interface with government POCs as a mid-level ISSO
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Office conditions are varied and include physical tasks such as lifting, pushing or pulling up to 10 pounds. Physical positions will include, but not be limited to, walking, sitting or standing for extended periods of time, crawling, kneeling, stooping or cramped working places and work requiring repeated or frequent climbing.
Environment will include customer contact, extended workdays, an office laboratory in a confined workspace.
REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline. [Substituted for BA degree must have High School Diploma or equivalent plus ten (+10) years IT experience]
DoD 8570/8140: IAM I
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Eight (8) years of cybersecurity experience
Five (5) years of RMF experience.
REQUIRED SECURITY AND CLEARANCE:
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Secret security clearance is required. (Applicants selected either must currently possess a Secret clearance or will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain clearance prior to commencement of employment and maintain a security clearance for access to classified information or Closed/Restricted Areas throughout duration of employment.)
