We are expanding our operations and seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and proactive Inventory Control Manager to lead and improve our inventory strategy, systems, and execution.
Position Summary
As the Inventory Control Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory accuracy, stock optimization, warehouse procedures, and ERP system integrity. This role is critical in supporting production planning, improving customer delivery performance, minimizing inventory-related costs, and maximizing spare parts availability. You will work closely with purchasing, operations, logistics, and sales departments to ensure seamless material flow and inventory reliability.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all inventory control processes and personnel across multiple warehouse locations
Develop and enforce inventory management procedures to improve accuracy, reduce shrinkage, and prevent overstock/understock situations
Maintain inventory levels to meet service level targets while optimizing carrying costs
Oversee and ensure timely execution of cycle counts, full physical inventories, and root cause analysis of discrepancies
Collaborate with Purchasing, Planning, and Sales to align inventory with production schedules and customer demand
Monitor and manage slow-moving, obsolete, or excess inventory and recommend disposal or redistribution strategies
Maintain ERP system accuracy and integrity; lead improvements in inventory-related master data and reporting
Generate and analyze inventory KPIs such as Inventory Turnover Ratio, Fill Rates, Stockouts, Days on Hand, and Forecast Accuracy
Identify and implement AI-enhanced solutions for forecasting, cycle counting, replenishment automation, and performance analytics
Train warehouse and material handling staff on best practices, system use, and inventory accountability
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management)
Minimum of 5 years of inventory control or warehouse management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial equipment environment
Direct experience using enterprise-level ERP software, including systems such as SAP, pro Alpha, JD Edwards, or Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Navision
Demonstrated ability to work independently with a high level of accountability and commitment to excellence
A strong desire to grow within the organization by applying hard work, innovation, and a continuous improvement mindset
Interest and/or experience in applying AI technologies to optimize inventory planning, demand forecasting, and operational efficiency
Strong knowledge of ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Experience with lean manufacturing principles and demand-driven inventory planning is a plus
