Job Description

Purpose Statement:

The Shipping Associate will be responsible for the packaging and shipping of fine art items, review shipping labels to ensure accuracy and perform quality control functions to ensure shipments meet company and customer expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Read and interpret work orders.

Review shipping labels to ensure accuracy.

Consistently exceed minimum required production, accuracy or quality standards for the work performed.

Consistently exceed minimum performance standards as set forth by Company Management.

Assembling of shipping materials, package orders to diminish possible damage, stocking of shipping inventory, preparation of shipping labels and preparations of Bill of Lading documents.

Group shipping items together according to work orders and Transportation Company.

Ensure shipments meet company and customer expectations.

Ensure that all warehouse equipment and tools are properly utilized to increase productivity, efficiency, and safety; report any unsafe conditions, damaged equipment or injury to self or co-worker to company management.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience with shipping systems (FEDEX & UPS)

Education: High School Diploma

Physical Requirements

Must be able to perform extensive standing, walking, and climbing.

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. regularly.

Must be able to bend, stoop, and climb to reach materials (must be able to climb a ladder)

Repetitive motion.

Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Weekends/OT as needed.

Full-time
