Machine Operator(HL)

2nd Shift Machine Operator Opportunity in Ridgeway, VA

Job Summary

We are seeking a hard-working and reliable Machine Operators to join our growing operation. In this role, you will work operating machinery, verifying equipment set-up prior to start of production run, verifying order information, and producing parts to specifications. Prior experience in manufacturing/industrial environment preferred but we are willing to train.

Duties and Responsibilities

Operates and shuts down manufacturing equipment

Verify equipment set-up prior to start of a production run

Verifies order information and products parts with the correct material, density, weight, size and/or shape within tolerance to meet specific job requirements while meeting productivity standards

Bundles, wraps, stacks, packs, assembles and/or labels material per specific production instructions

Requirements and Qualifications

Prior experience in manufacturing/industrial environment preferred

General understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements and departmental procedures

Must be fluent in the English language, both written and oral

Able to work on your feet for 8-hour shifts and lift 30 lbs. regularly

Good communication skills

High school diploma/GED preferred
