Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant – Java, Selenium, Mobile Testing, API

As a Lead Consultant, you will spearhead automation initiatives, focusing on Java, Selenium, Appium, and API testing. Your leadership will drive the design, implementation, and execution of robust automation frameworks, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable automation frameworks for web and mobile applications using Java, Selenium, Appium, and API testing tools like Rest Assured and Postman.

• Lead and mentor a team of testers, ensuring effective execution of automation and testing strategies.

• Manage and implement mobile testing strategies across both Android and iOS platforms.

• Oversee the integration of API testing (REST/SOAP) into the test framework.

• Implement best practices for Continuous Integration/Continuous Testing (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage for new features and functionalities.

• Develop and execute performance and load testing when necessary.

• Evaluate and introduce new tools/technologies to improve the testing process and efficiency.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing strategic guidance on testing strategies and quality assurance processes.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Lead Consultant, Test Lead, or similar role in Test Automation.

• Expert-level knowledge of Java and experience with Selenium WebDriver for automated testing.

• Hands-on experience with Appium for mobile automation testing (Android and iOS).

• Solid understanding of API testing (using tools like Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI, etc.).

• Strong knowledge of mobile testing methodologies, tools, and platforms.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) and version control (Git).

• Familiarity with test management tools (Jira, TestRail, etc.).

• Solid experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Preferred qualifications

• Banking / Capital Markets domain experience.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive resolution in a collaborative team environment.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Leadership experience, including leading teams, managing projects, and driving technical initiatives to successful completion.

• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., ISTQB, Java certifications) are a plus.

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $55,000 to $68,500. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity.
