This role involves cross-functional collaboration, process improvement, and leadership in automation project execution aligned with business goals.Job Duties:Explore and implement new automation methods and systemsDesign, test, and program automation equipment and processesTroubleshoot equipment and improve machine/process performanceCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunitiesLead discussions with leadership to define goals and capabilitiesSupport day-to-day operations and continuous improvement initiativesUpgrade existing automation technology and componentsDeliver accurate, timely project updates and documentationAssist and support other facilities as neededParticipate in capital planning and project implementationResearch and introduce new equipment, processes, and technologies to reduce costs and improve qualityPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (preferred)Minimum 10+ years of experience in automation or a related fieldStrong proficiency with automation equipment and system testingDemonstrated project management capabilitiesStrong troubleshooting and leadership skillsExcellent organizational and communication abilitiesAbility to collaborate across departments and lead initiativesQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
