Inside Sales Representative JOB SUMMARY: This individual will serve as part of the Sales team for Werres, part of Toyota Industries Corporation, acting as a liaison between new customer leads and the Sales Representatives.
Responsible for finding new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up completed by outbound cold calls and emails.
Develop relationships with customers to encourage trust in the organization as well as helping to build processes and utilize sales tools to assist the entire sales team.
This is a hybrid position working out of the Frederick, MD headquarters.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: * Proactively set qualified meetings for Outside Sales Reps * Run point on inbound leads: qualify them quickly and hand off appropriately * Cold call into target accounts, with a special focus on “attack accounts” * Work closely with OSRs to coordinate schedules, confirm meetings, and ensure follow-through * Join outside rep meetings (virtually/in-person) to learn, support, and grow * Regularly identify new prospects and opportunities beyond current territory knowledge * Maintain CRM activity and pipeline hygiene * Collaborate with marketing on lead gen campaigns and conversion tracking * Evaluate sales tools, tech stack, and data usage to identify gaps or underused assets * Help refine sales processes, messaging, and market approach to increase effectiveness * Analyze CRM, campaign, and rep data to surface key trends and performance bottlenecks * Recommend and implement improvements to territory coverage, lead management, and rep enablement KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES: * Previous experience working in a high energy, fast paced environment making sales calls * Strong oral and written communication skills coupled with professional presentation skills * Self-directive, disciplined, persistent, and with a strong work ethic * Solid organizational and time management skills * Ability to multitask * Analytical and data driven with strong attention to detail * Computer literate and tech savvy REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: * 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, sales development, or sales operations * Familiarity with CRM tools and sales enablement platforms * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Experience in material handling, logistics, or B2B industrial sales is a plus Don't let this opportunity pass you by!
