The Opportunity

The Payroll Specialist reports to the Payroll Manager and provides payroll support to Maples offices as part of the global HR team.

Primary responsibilities include:

Being responsible for the accurate preparation of the payroll inputs, such as new hires, terminations, and changes;

Providing end to end payroll processing and ensures employees’ payroll is processed in an accurate and timely manner;

Reviewing payroll reports including computation of pay and associated deduction, and reconciling them against payroll inputs;

Preparing required tax filings and other reporting such as statutory and third-party payments;

Assisting in centralizing the global HR Shared Service model.

What You Bring

In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:

A Bachelors’ degree in a related field;

A minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role;

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and be able to work with all levels of staff;

Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications;

Experience in managing payroll for multiple countries, as well as regular communication with colleagues from different regions is a plus.
