Purpose of role
We are seeking a highly skilled Presentation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an expert in creating interactive and animated PowerPoint presentations that captivate and engage audiences. This role requires a creative individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality presentations. Proficiency in Excel and Outlook email templates is also essential and who is looking to further their experience in MS Office applications as well as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
The successful applicant will take responsibility for the management of the document, within time and quality parameters, handling customer queries relating to these documents. To liaise directly with the Creative Lead/Account Manager/Workflow Coordinator on a regular basis to give updates to project, deadlines and issues so that the client’s requirements can be effectively managed
Develop and design interactive PowerPoint presentations that effectively communicate complex information and engage the audience.
Incorporate multimedia elements such as animations, videos, and interactive features to enhance the presentation experience.
Utilize Excel to create and manage data-driven content for presentations.
Design and implement Outlook email templates to enhance communication efficiency.
Collaborate with various departments to understand their presentation needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Ensure all presentations are visually appealing, engaging, and aligned with the company's branding guidelines.
Excellent knowledge of presentations services departmental processes
Accurately creating and amending presentations/documents in a timely manner and to corporate standards
Ensuring all work is quality checked/proofed to the highest standards and delivered right at the first time
Communicating effectively with Workflow Manager/Team Leader, Client and team, as appropriate, to help effectively manage operational needs and manage client expectations
To take ownership for the quality of your work and the associated deadlines
To use Engage/DBS Hub for job related duties accurately and effectively
To accurately estimate the production time and liaise with Account Manager/Workflow Coordinators to ensure deadline adherence
To share knowledge and encourage a supportive team culture
Taking a pro-active approach to attendance and time management
Maintaining compliance on all relevant H&S and FCA regulated material
Ensuring adherence of objectives and contractual obligations (Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators)
To act in a professional and consultative manner to all clients
To ensure a clear and comprehensive handover for any incoming staff
Accurate and timely production of all Presentations materials
Ensure all work is quality checked before being returned to the client
Ensure complete submission of work to be randomly quality checked
Adherence of department policies and procedures
Reporting of any issues to relevant parties
Required Skills:
The candidate must have advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and Excel. A working knowledge of graphics production and applications is also desired
Good Knowledge of complex chart creation and solving issues in Excel
Ability to work in PowerPoint master slides, working with themes and experience of creating PPT templates
Thinking of creative ways to display clients’ information on slides in engaging ways
Possess great attention to detail and a critical eye for accuracy, with a ‘right first time’ attitude
3+ years’ experience of working in a corporate culture
Ability to work to tight deadlines whilst under pressure
Must be able to work on their own initiative
Self-motivated, ability to think on the spot
Continual improvement mentality, open and receptive to feedback
Strong service mentality, commitment to service excellence is essential
Excellent communication skills in the English language, both verbal and written
Flexible attitude
Should be a quick learner, able to pick up skills relevant to the service needs
Determination to achieve results and being prepared to put in extra effort when required
