Your new role
Manage and improve financial systems including sales forecasting, planning, product cost estimating, and operations controlling.
Perform account postings and reconciliations.
Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
Prepare complex financial analyses and assess business opportunities.
Advise management on financial aspects of business ventures.
Complete Monthly Financial Package within 8 days of month-end.
Prepare and submit annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and weekly flash forecasts.
Provide financial information for annual external audits.
Reconcile balance sheet items and bank accounts monthly.
Ensure accuracy of plant reports.
Track and report purchasing expenses and headcount monthly.
Perform ad hoc financial analyses.
Establish and modify accounting procedures.
Supervise and improve efficiency of subordinates.
Comply with company handbook and OHSA requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
2-3 years of experience in banking, finance, or accounting.
Knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS.
Familiarity with financial and non-financial measurement systems, lean manufacturing practices, and cost management systems.
Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and guide strategic and operational planning in finance.
