Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain SQL queries, scripts, and jobs using Databricks SQL.

2. Design and implement data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes using Databricks.

3. Optimize SQL queries for performance, scalability, and reliability.

4. Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and analysts to integrate data solutions.

5. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security.

Required Skills:

1. Strong SQL skills (Databricks SQL, Spark SQL).

2. Experience with Databricks platform (Databricks notebooks, jobs, clusters).

3. Data warehousing and data lake architecture.

4. Data modeling and ETL development.

5. Data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

6.Data Bricks : federated workspaces, a medallion architecture (bronze/silver/gold layers), and streaming data.

Nice to Have:

1. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

2. Knowledge of programming languages (Python, Scala, R).

3. Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience:

9+ years of experience in SQL development, data engineering, or related field.
