QC Lab Assistant

Job Description

Immediate opening for a QC Lab Assistant in Savannah, GA!

ONE INTERVIEW AND START ASAP!

Pay - $25/hr

*Requires day shift and night shift availability.

Conducts analysis and experimentation on raw material, in-process, and finished product, as well as wastewater samples to ensure quality control specifications are met.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Operates and maintains various quality control analytical instruments.

-Performs timely and accurate routine quality control analysis using established test methods.

-Communicates with Lead Analyst and production teams.

-Enters data into the laboratory information system.

-Maintains the laboratory according to 5S practices, good housekeeping and safety standards within the Chemical Hygiene Plan.

-Performs calibrations of equipment.

-Assists in troubleshooting problems with in-process materials, intermediates and finished products.

-May perform other related assignments as determined by supervision.

-Associates degree in sciences; or equivalent combination of education and experience

-Self motivated individual with good time management skills

-Good IT literacy skills.

-Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

-Excellent communications skills

-Competence in basic arithmetic and algebra.

-MUST HAVE LAB EXPERIENCE
