Test Operator

Job Description

Cornerstone Staffing Solutions is looking to fill 5 Test Operator roles for a local Global Electronic Manufacturing Services provider( EMS) located in Milpitas, Ca. The Test Operator will be responsible for conducting tests on various electronic components and assemblies, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of debugging techniques, data collection methods, and the ability to interpret schematics.

Duties

Conduct thorough testing of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic assemblies to ensure compliance with IPC 610 standards.

Utilize debugging techniques to identify and resolve issues in electronic components.

Collect and analyze data from testing processes to ensure quality assurance.

Assemble components accurately according to schematics and technical specifications.

Operate precision measuring instruments, including ohmmeters, to verify electrical characteristics.

Perform automated optical inspections to detect defects in PCB assemblies.

Document test results and maintain accurate records of findings for quality control purposes.

Collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback on product performance and suggest improvements.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Test Operator or similar role in electronics manufacturing.

Strong knowledge of debugging processes and data collection methodologies.

Familiarity with IPC 610 standards and ability to apply them in testing environments.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics related to electronic assemblies.

Experience with quality assurance practices in a manufacturing setting.

Ability to operate precision measuring instruments, including ohmmeters.

Knowledge of automated optical inspection techniques is a plus.

Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Shift: Graveyard 11pm-6am 4 roles

Day 6am-2:30pm 1 role

Job Type: Temp-to-hire
