We are looking for a Fireplace Installer to support our Columbus, Ohio distribution facility. No experience is necessary—we will train!

Job Purpose

The fireplace installer is responsible for tasks directly related to fireplace installations. They will ensure timely, accurate, and thorough handling of the product as it is delivered to the customer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain company vehicle and other related tooling

Safe operation of power tools

Install products in new construction sites and retail homes to manufacturers’ specifications and building codes

Load and unload truck

Frame walls for fireplace installation, when applicable

Measure and install sheet metal chase cap

Install pipe, wood and metal

Adhere to company safety policies

Education, Knowledge, and Skills:

High school/GED is preferred but not required.

No Experience necessary, previous construction industry experience a plus

Electrical, Framing, Sheet Metal and Wood experience preferred

Clean Driving Record

Knowledge of how to use power tools

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None

Work Environment:

Manufacturing and office environment. Exposure to noise, fumes, and dust, while in manufacturing facilities.

Physical Demands:

The employee is to occasionally Stand; Walk; Climb or balance; Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; the employee is regularly Sit; Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; Reach with hands and arms; Talk or hear. The employee must be able to lift 60 lbs.
