Laurel, NJ. We are an approved manufacturer for the US Government. We are ITAR registered/EAR & DFARS compliant. Our quality management system is certified to AS 9100:2016 and ISO 9001:2015. Our facility has a complete machine shop with CNC Milling, CNC Turning, Wire EDM and 3D printing. We offer a full range of manufacturing options-- from small to large quantities, and from the simple to complex--all at reasonable prices. We can even perform reverse engineering for hard-to-find items.Job Summary:
Under the general direction of the Sr. Project Manager, the Project Manager is responsible for the coordination of all functions related to successful project completion in a diverse manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in facilitating communication across departments to ensure customer requirements are met on time and within budget.Essential Functions:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:
Manage and promote all interdepartmental Work Order communications specific to the project.
Create Work Orders from processes defined by the Engineering Group within the ERP system.
Generate procurement requirements for the Purchasing Group within the ERP system.
Prepare job packets for the Manufacturing Group based on customer specifications.
Communicate documentation and/or customer-specific requirements to the Quality Assurance team.
Prepare updates for the Customer Service Group.
Present project status updates in regular Production Meetings.
Identify cost, quality, and/or delivery concerns in real time and escalate to Executive Management.
Communicate any special shipping requirements to the Shipping/Receiving Group.
Monitor and maintain the accuracy and progress of Work Orders, including:
Regularly checking for receipt of materials and lapses in production
Ensuring and advising on Sales Orders progress
Creating Shop Packets
Reviewing and acknowledging any outside service requestsQualifications:
A team player with strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Exceptional collaboration, listening, written, and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Ability to respond to inquiries from customers, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders
Able to effectively present information to senior leadership, peers, and manufacturing teamsCompetencies:

2–3 years of cross-functional manufacturing and/or project management experience required
Background in Production Planning, Scheduling, or Control is a plus
Strong computer skills and familiarity with ERP systems
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings preferred
