The Office Networking Department within Enterprise Infrastructure is seeking candidates for IT Project Coordinator role.

The IT Project Coordinator for Networking works independently to troubleshoot layer 1 connectivity issues and with other Networking staff on projects involving communications infrastructure on campus.

Main Responsibilities:

troubleshoot and repair network, telephone & TV jacks and cabling

maintain and update documentation as required

may assist full-time staff with hardware installation and maintenance

interact with other students to schedule appointments and perform trouble diagnosis

additional duties as assigned by Network Engineer or designated NTS staff

Learning Objectives:

Gain knowledge of campus resources.

Provide quality customer service.

Gain an understanding of professionalism and confidence working in a fast paced academic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

a basic knowledge of wiring practices

ability to work with hand tools and hand held diagnostic equipment

ability to work conscientiously and with attention to detail in an unsupervised environment

good organizational and communication skills and the ability to work with others in a team environment
