Description

Muscogee Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Kill Floor Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate would be someone that has experience working with livestock, we would love to hear from you!

Duties:

1. Handle livestock humanly which involves: stunning, skinning, hide, pulling, eviscerating, splitting and trimming carcasses.

2. Performing tasks like trimming, washing, and weighing carcasses.

3. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to sanitation and safety protocols.

4. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. Skinning experience or the ability and willingness to learn the methods and requirements of cutting.

2. Must be able to lift at least 80lbs.

3. Must be willing to work in a cold and damp work environment.

4. Ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English is essential.

5. Punctual and dependable.

6. An agricultural background with experience working with livestock is a strong asset.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

2. Fine motor skills for working with knives and other tools.

3. Understanding and adhering to food safety regulations and safety protocols.

4. Ability to work effectively with others in a fast-paced environment.

5. Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.

6. A reliable vehicle with a valid Driver's license to commute to and from work daily

7. Ability to pass a drug test.

Hours:

8am to 6pm shift with possible weekends.
