Job Title: JDAM Assembler/Operator

Department: Operations

Hours 7:30am-4:00pm / Payrate -$18.00 per hour

SUMMARY

This job description covers all roles within the JDAM manufacturing cell. An employee hired in accordance with this job description may be utilized in fabrication, machining, and/or assembly processes. This may include sheet rolling, mechanized welding, machining (mill and/or lathe), assembly, conversion coating/dipping, hardware addition, and/or paint preparation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Able to effectively use common hand tools.

Able to effectively use common manual inspection tools such as tape measure, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, ID micrometers, go/no-go pins, go/no-go thread gauges.

Able to read and interpret work instructions to operate equipment and manufacture parts per drawing requirements.

Perform in-process inspections of their work.

Maintain a neat and orderly work area. Comply with FOD requirements as required.

Adhere to Safety policies and procedures at all times. Promote safety culture throughout the Plant.

Other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS

Familiarity with manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Able to work in a team environment.

Able to operate in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.

Attention to detail.

Excellent organization and analytical skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Be able to climb, squat and stand on your feet for long periods of time. Able to lift 40 lbs.
