Stoneridge is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Inspector to support inspections of PCBA, wiring harnesses, metals, and plastics in the automotive sector. This role involves both incoming material inspections and in-process product checks, ensuring compliance with IPC standards and PPAP requirements. The inspector will use advanced tools like the FARO Arm for dimensional verification and coordinate containment actions with suppliers to address non-conformities.

Key Responsibilities:

Incoming Inspections: Inspect PCBA, wiring harnesses, metals, and plastics upon arrival to ensure compliance with Stoneridge’s and customer specifications.

PCBA & Wiring Harness Inspections: Verify IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards for soldering, component placement, and wire assembly.

FARO Arm Measurement: Perform 3D dimensional inspections using FARO Arm or similar tools to ensure part conformity and compliance with technical drawings.

Produced Product Inspections: Conduct inspections during production and on finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications and functionality.

PPAP Documentation: Support PPAP by validating inspection reports, dimensional analysis, and test results for approval of parts before production.

Supplier Coordination for Containment Actions: Work with suppliers to contain quality issues, ensuring defective parts are isolated and corrective actions are taken promptly.

Continuous Improvement: Lead or contribute to quality improvement initiatives to reduce defects, enhance process efficiency, and improve product quality.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate inspection records, including reports for PPAP, incoming materials, and produced products.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience: 5+ years in quality inspection in automotive, focusing on PCBA, wiring harnesses, metals, plastics, and dimensional measurement.

IPC Standards Expertise: Proficient in IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, with hands-on experience in applying these standards.

FARO Arm Proficiency: Skilled in using FARO Arm or similar 3D CMM tools for dimensional inspections.

PPAP Knowledge: Familiar with PPAP documentation and processes.

Supplier Coordination: Experience in coordinating containment actions with suppliers to address quality issues.

Quality Standards Knowledge: In-depth understanding of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, IPC-A-610, and PPAP standards.

Problem-Solving & Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail when inspecting products and reviewing documentation.

Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams and suppliers.

You need to have a valid work visa for The Netherlands.

Travel allowance home-work: 23ct per kilometers one way up to a maximum of 50 km

CAO/CLA: Metalektro HP

PAWW: Compulsory supplementary insurance when the statutory unemployment WW or WGA benefit expires.

Holiday days: 27 days on an annual basis (full-time).

ATV: 13 days on an annual basis (full-time).
