We're seeking a dynamic Director of AI Cyber Security to operate as an entrepreneur, bringing a startup mentality to drive fast-paced growth. This role will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive commercial strategy for AI based Cyber Security solutions. You will have accountability to shape and execute the go to market approach, building strategic relationships, and deliver impactful solutions, while building out the already high-performing cyber security team.
Key responsibilities of this role are:
Develop and lead the commercial strategy for AI Cyber Security, with business goals to drive sustainable growth.
Identify and shape new market opportunities, leveraging insights and trends to position the organisation as a leader in the AI Cyber Security space.
Own the sales pipeline and client relationships, driving business development efforts and securing new revenue streams.
Oversee the successful delivery of AI Cyber Security solutions, ensuring high-quality outcomes, customer satisfaction, and commercial performance.
Foster innovation and collaboration across teams, working closely with technical, delivery, and leadership stakeholders to evolve and scale the offering.
Develop strong partnerships, as a source of new business opportunities.
Collaborate with existing business development and account teams to sell AI Cyber Security services to our customers and prospects. Contribute to key account planning sessions to ensure these offerings are well promoted and positioned for success.
Promote Kainos externally as a AI Cyber Security leader, developing new campaigns and events.
Be a critical ambassador for Kainos externally and will embrace and promote the culture, values and behaviours that makes Kainos unique.
Minimum requirements:
The right person will be passionate about scaling a business to solve customer challenges with an understanding of AI Cyber Security, a self-starter and is success driven. They will:
Have taken accountability for developing new commercial offerings from an idea stage to >£1m revenue. With a proven track record of delivering against targets (quarterly and annually), whilst dealing with the uncertainty of a startup environment.
Be highly knowledgeable of the sales process and deal commercials including constructing complex commercial offers
Be customer success focused, applying a consultant-led selling approach, with proven ability to help prospects and customers deliver value from technology.
Have strong influencing skills; including an ability to engage and lead a wider team of sales, account and technology experts to support achieving the Cyber Security outcomes.
Have a solid understanding of AI Cyber Security trends and their potential impact on current & future projects.
Be able to travel to meet customers and to Kainos offices (weekly travel within the UK & Ireland).
Desirable requirements
Experience in both commercial and public sectors.
A deep background in AI Cyber Security.
