About The Department · The IT Department is responsible for managing and supporting all technology systems within MRH.

Its primary goal is to ensure the secure, efficient, and compliant operation of digital infrastructure that supports clinical, administrative, and operational functions.

The department works closely with clinical and administrative staff to optimize workflows, integrate new technologies, manage data analytics, and support decision-making processes.

It also oversees software updates, cybersecurity measures, system interoperability, and the procurement of IT equipment and services.

About The Career: · The Manager, IS Service Desk, is responsible for overseeing the hospital's IT Service Desk operations, ensuring timely and effective support for hospital staff and patients.

This role includes managing the Service Desk team, optimizing service delivery, maintaining service level agreements (SLAs), and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The position also involves coordinating IT leadership on key infrastructure and support projects to enhance hospital-wide IT performance and customer satisfaction.

All About You: · Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT service desk management or IT support operations, preferably in a healthcare environment.

· Proven leadership experience in managing a team, setting goals, and driving performance improvements.

· Strong knowledge of ITIL best practices and service management frameworks.

· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations.

· Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

· Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and familiarity with HIPAA and HITECH regulations preferred.

· Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong technical understanding of Windows OS, network troubleshooting, Active Directory, and ticketing systems.
