Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to protect our organization's digital infrastructure from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of professional experience, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or equivalent. This role involves monitoring systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing security measures. Candidates must successfully pass a background check prior to employment.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and analyze systems and networks for security breaches or vulnerabilities.

Conduct risk assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate threats.

Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.

Investigate security incidents and provide detailed reports on findings.

Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into system designs.

Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies.

Provide training and awareness programs on cybersecurity best practices.

Prepare and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity analysis or a similar role.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent).

Strong knowledge of network security, encryption technologies, and cybersecurity tools.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
