We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical BIM Modeler who is eager to advance their career with an award-winning, full-service design and consulting firm!
At EAPC, our team of professionals including architects, engineers, interior designers, and construction managers work together to create exceptional structures and designs that impact communities.
Key responsibilities include:
Assist the Project Manager or Principal on projects from concept to successful completion
Utilize and manage computer-aided design software such as REVIT and AutoCAD
May use TRACE for building calculations
May assist in equipment selection and scheduling
Work day-to-day with other engineering disciplines, internal and external, of the organization
May perform construction management, as necessary, for projects during the construction phase
Must be able to accommodate and meet customer demands within deadlines
Verify and interpret applicable codes and regulations
Qualifications:
Minimum two-year associate degree in Drafting Technology or related degree
Must have experience with REVIT, or extensive coursework at minimum
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
Knowledge of standardized drafting practices and procedures
Strong communication and computer skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Willingness to travel
Willingness to work occasional overtime
A valid driver's license
Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
This position will report directly to the Sioux Falls Office Manager and will work as an integrated member of a multi-disciplinary, in-house team of engineers, architects, and designers/modelers.
Compensation is based on the applicant's skills, education, and other qualifications.
