As we continue to expand our presence in the US market, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Sales to lead our growth efforts, increase revenue, and build a successful sales team.

The VP of Sales will be responsible for shaping and executing Shopware's sales strategy in the United States. This individual will play a key role in developing new business, strengthening customer relationships, and scaling revenue operations. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in Cloud, eCommerce, or digital commerce sales, along with a proven track record of building and managing growing sales teams.

These are your tasks:

Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to expand Shopware’s market presence and revenue growth in the US.

Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, mentor, and guide a skilled sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Revenue Growth: Oversee revenue targets, ensuring consistent pipeline development and successful deal closure.

Market Expansion: Identify and maximize new business opportunities within the eCommerce ecosystem, including mid-market and enterprise clients.

Customer Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with key customers, prospects, and industry stakeholders to position Shopware as a trusted eCommerce platform.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage analytics and sales metrics to measure performance, refine processes, and ensure accountability.

AI and Innovation: Utilize next-generation tools internally and help clients integrate them effectively.

Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, and customer success teams to align sales initiatives with company objectives.

This is what you’ll bring to the table:

10+ years of sales leadership experience in SaaS, eCommerce, or digital commerce platforms.

Proven track record of successfully growing sales teams and exceeding revenue targets.

Experience selling to mid-market and enterprise clients in the eCommerce industry.

Strong understanding of sales methodologies, pipeline management, and forecasting.

Ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies in a dynamic B2B environment.

Effective leadership, mentorship, and coaching skills.

Strong negotiation and contract management expertise.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with a strategic mindset.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
